2022 Porsche 992 Turbo S

A standard 992 Turbo S is already close to the limit of what a road car needs, delivering 650 PS and reaching 62 mph in under three seconds straight out of the showroom. This one carries around 200 bhp more than that. The ES700 package with our titanium exhaust system takes it to 850 bhp, and the character of the car changes with it. The stock Turbo S is relentless in a slightly clinical way. This one has an edge to it.

The visual work is entirely ES. A full carbon fibre body kit sharpens the bodywork without turning it into a spectacle, sitting over ES 22/21 forged wheels and lowered on H&R springs so the arches finally sit where they should. Against the pale paint, the exposed weave of the carbon bonnet and the black wheels give the car a monochrome severity, broken only by the yellow ceramic calipers. Roof down, it looks like nothing else on the road. Roof up, it still does.

None of the usability has been traded away. Burmester audio, heated and cooled seats, front axle lift for speed bumps and ramps, adaptive cruise for the motorway, and the full Porsche aero kit underneath the carbon. It remains a car you can drive to the south of France and then drive properly once you get there, which is the point of a Turbo S and the reason this build stops where it does.
