Doors up, sat low on gravel in Giallo, it still does what it was built to do in 1990: stop everything around it. This example takes that further, having been given a full GTR conversion, the widened, vented, wing-topped treatment inspired by the roughly thirty cars Sant’Agata built for the one-make Supertrophy series at the very end of the Diablo’s life. Almost nobody gets to see a real GTR. This is the closest most will come to standing next to one.

The car has covered 48,000 km (around 29,800 miles) and comes with full documented history, including a recent clutch change, so the expensive jobs on a car of this era are behind it rather than ahead of it. A bespoke exhaust system with headers replaces the factory setup, and the difference is not subtle. The 5.7-litre V12 sits behind your head with nothing muffling it, and above 4,000 rpm it delivers the sound that made this generation of Lamborghini famous.

Analogue, unassisted, and entirely unfiltered, the Diablo is the last of the truly intimidating Lamborghinis. Presented in full GTR specification with paperwork to match, this is a car for a collection that values presence over politeness.

At a glance

48,000 km / approx. 29,800 miles

Full documented service history

Recent clutch replacement

Full GTR conversion

Bespoke exhaust system with headers

Love0

Few cars announce themselves like a Diablo.
